Welcome to the website of the New York State Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians,
Inc. New York has a wonderful large membership of over 3,800 members enriching their
lives with Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity. The dedication of our members to Faith,
Country and Irish Heritage has inspired many others to join and contribute even further to our
Hibernian Heritage and History. The LAOH is located in 27 New York State Counties and
encompasses 62 divisions within the 27 counties. If any one would like to join us in
dedication to Church, and Irish culture, you may go to the membership link on this website to
see if you have a division located near you. There will be contacts listed on that page as well.
The LAOH has enriched my life with so many great Sister Hibernians that I feel I am truly
blessed with what truly matters in life. If you are a practicing Roman Catholic of Irish birth or
descent through either parent or are legally adopted or a wife or mother of a member of the
Ancient Order of Hibernians, or the mother of a member of the Junior Division of either the
Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Inc. or the Ancient Order of Hibernians or a woman of
a Religious Order, of age 16 and over, please join us and fulfill your life with the wonderful
world of Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity.
